SolarEdge Rapid Shutdown Kit

All of SolarEdge Inverters include the SafeDC feature which de-energizes your system to less than 30V when the inverter turns off (regardless of the means for turning it off). The Rapid Shutdown Kit ensures that this 30V level is reached within the 10 seconds required for NEC 2014 Rapid Shutdown functionality according to Section 690.12 of the NEC 2014. This only functions with SolarEdge Single Phase Inverters. ** The image to the right shows the kit installed in the DC Disconnect. The system in initiated by turning the Disconnect switch OFF.

The Kit Includes:

• 5 sets of rapid shutdown cables, for 5 inverters
• 5 sets of DC terminal blocks, for 5 inverters
• 1 SD card for firmware upgrade (NOTE: do not throw away - need to use for each inverter install)
• Installation instructions
